While most dyslexics do not have visual problems there is a minority that actually have trouble reading because of difficulty seeing the page in a stable uniform and focused manner.<BR/><BR/>A careful analysis of all the FMRI studies of different areas of the brain involved with different aspects of reading (including the visual region) show a common result. The result (for each region) is that researchers are able to see differences between groups of dyslexics and non-dyslexics but can not identify individual dyslexics because of the overlap in results.<BR/><BR/>Except for poor reading skills there is not 1 problem common to all dyslexics. Phonological related problems do indeed seem to be involved at least in some way for the majority of dyslexics. <BR/><BR/>For the dyslexic that says " I could read if the words would just stop moving around or look the same all the time." the problem is visual and can be corrected with See Right Dyslexia Glasses available at dyslexiaglasses.com .<BR/><BR/>Oct. is dyslexia awareness month. There should also be a "dyslexia is caused by individualistic problems unique to each dyslexic" awareness month.
